Products description

The Boker Barlow BFF designed by Lucas Burnley is manufactured as a fixed EDC in full tang construction and is equipped in this version with green Canvas Micarta handle scales. With this handy knife, the well-known designer and full-time knife maker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the proven Barlow and the modern elements of its design, known as Post Tactical. The characteristic teardrop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century, making it one of the oldest models of all. The name of the classic probably goes back to an enterprising knife manufacturer from Sheffield who started exporting the robust knives to North America around 1800. There they enjoyed great popularity right away and so the first Barlow models appeared at the end of the 19th century in the history of the Böker manufactory.

In this fixed version, tradition, everyday use and a touch of tactical finesse find a harmonious balance. The compact Barlow BFF is made from ice-hardened AEB-L, a versatile blade steel with excellent cutting capabilities, good rust resistance and easy resharpenability. The fixed knife version of the timeless classic has contoured handle scales made of textured micarta and is comfortable to hold. The decorative hollow rivet made of brass also serves as a lanyard hole and, together with the rivets of the same colour, sets a visual accent. With a perfectly fitting black leather sheath, which ensures a high level of carrying comfort thanks to the integrated clip. Handcrafted in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
