This very unique design is the work of Butch Vallotton. The Subhilt is a knife that even within the Spyderco range has a very unique position. The straightforward design shows excellent ergonomics and fascinates through its high versatility. The blade is hollow grinded. However it is very stable in the area of the tip. The thumb stud which is very unusual for Spyderco serves also as stop pin. The polished G-10 handle scales fit precisely between the brushed stainless steel bolsters.
