Spyderco Metropolitan Lightweight

Spyderco's SLIPIT™ models are super popular. They're convenient because you can clip them and open them with one hand. They also have a non-locking blade, which is social and legal. The newest member of this proud family is the Metropolitan. It's designed to fit perfectly between our trailblazing UK Penknife™ and the compact Urban™. It's got all the same great features, like a Trademark Round Hole that's fully accessible for easy one-handed opening with either hand, a clip for easy top-of-the-pocket carry, and a non-locking, notched-joint mechanism. Its blade is full-flat-ground, leaf-shaped, and made from Böhler-Uddeholm's M398, a high-tech stainless steel that's super hard and keeps its edge really well. The blade has a textured index-finger choil for extra safety, and it comes with a lightweight handle made with injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. The textured scales have a deep-pocket wire clip that you can easily set up for left or right-side tip-up carry, so you can have the best of both worlds.
