CRKT Provoke

The CRKT Provoke by Joe Caswell represents a whole new dimension in folding knives. Its Kinematic mechanism is comparable to no other pocket knife. The Hawkbill blade, mounted on two movable arms, does not rotate around an axis in the classic way, but is swung out parallel to the handle and locked in place. The locking mechanism of the karambit is released again with the lever recessed into the handle. The handling is so uncomplicated and intuitive that safe and fast use is always guaranteed. The handle elements are made of 6061 T6 aluminium, while the titanium nitride-coated blade is made of D2 and is impressive 5.3 millimetres thick. The round clip does not apply when the knife is in use, but can be removed from its parking position at the touch of a finger to put the knife away. The unique concept of the Provoke clearly demonstrates that fundamental innovations are still possible in the field of folding knives.
